About myself:

I am around half a century old, which is quite a lot in this game. An electronic engineer, I have worked with computers since the time when they were the size of a broom closet and had the capacity of a musical postcard. I am an experienced C programmer and UNIX administrator and computers are very much a part of my workday. Apart from this site, I am also webmaster of one serious website, plus one intranet site.

On the family level, I am happily married (and have been for more than 30 years). I have two children and, currently, three grandchildren.
